About FlashFocus

Hi, I’m Diarmuid Gillingham, the photographer behind FlashFocus.

I am a Cork photographer with over 14 years of experience, specialising in event photography in Cork and across Ireland. I photograph weddings, birthday parties, family celebrations, live performances and corporate events in a natural, relaxed and professional style.

My approach is simple: I focus on capturing real moments, genuine emotion and the atmosphere of the day. I work in a calm and unobtrusive way, so you can enjoy your event while I document it properly.

If you are looking for a Cork event photographer, I offer a flexible, reliable service designed to make the experience easy and stress-free. My goal is to give you confidence that your photography is in safe hands from start to finish.

Alongside event photography, I also sell a growing collection of travel photography digital files through FlashFocus. These images are ideal for personal use, creative projects and interiors, and reflect my long-standing interest in travel, architecture and fine art photography.

My background includes over a decade of professional photography experience, former committee roles with Ballincollig Camera Club and the UCC Photography Society, and winning the 2017 UCC Erasmus Photographic Competition.

On this website, you can view my work, read testimonials, check pricing, make a booking, and browse travel photography.

If you are looking for an event photographer in Cork or would like to buy travel photography digital images, I would be delighted to hear from you.
